We bought a fixer-upper yesterday. If you saw the pic of the lake, this is why. It’s beautiful and peaceful and within walking distance of the house.
We plan to put in new floors (I’ll post pics of current floors later) and paint before we move in. We also have a mysterious (aka hideously ugly) half-bath in the master.
As you can see, the only photo of the house is of our very tiny, and in dire need of cleaning, pool.
Today, I spent the morning scouring the kitchen cabinets, narrowing down my paint color options and mapping out “the plan of attack.”
